Job Title: Health and Safety (H&S) Training Administrator

Location: Timmins, ON
Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 (Commensurate with experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: 5/2

The Role:
We are looking for an organized and proactive H&S Training Administrator to be the backbone of our safety department. You won’t just be filing papers; you will be ensuring every team member has the knowledge and certifications they need to go home safe every day. You will manage our training cycles, oversee our Learning Management System (LMS), and ensure we stay 100% audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Coordination: Schedule and logistics for all safety training sessions, including new hire orientations, WHMIS, and specialized technical certifications.
Compliance Tracking: Proactively monitor certification expiry dates (Working at Heights, First Aid, etc.) and notify department leads of upcoming requirements.
LMS Management: Maintain the digital training database, ensuring all records are accurate, uploaded, and easily retrievable for Ministry of Labour (MLITSD) audits.
Reporting: Generate monthly safety KPIs and training completion reports for the leadership team.


What You Bring:

Experience: 2+ years in an administrative role, ideally within H&S, HR, or a high-risk industry (Construction, Mining).
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using an LMS or safety software (e.g., Cognibox, or Sofvie ).
Legislative Knowledge: A solid grasp of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and WSIB reporting requirements.

Job Title: Underground Mining Estimator

Location: Timmins
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5/2

The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Mining Estimator to join our project team. You will be responsible for developing accurate, first-principles cost estimates for mining operations and construction projects. You will analyze geological data, labour requirements, equipment and scheduling needs to ensure our projects are financially viable and competitively bid.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation: Develop multi-discipline cost estimates (CapEx/OpEx) and construction schedules using first-principles calculations.
Bid Management: Review tender documents, perform quantity take-offs from drawings, and prepare detailed basis of estimate reports.
Planning: Establish site-specific criteria, including wage scales and person-hour productivity rates.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in design documents and provide innovative solutions to construction and pricing issues.
Collaboration: Liaison with vendors for supplier quotes and work with project managers to monitor progress and issue cost reports.

Required Qualifications

Education: Degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
Experience: 3–5+ years of estimating experience in mining, heavy civil, or underground construction.

Job description: Long hole drillers/Blasters-Pneumatic Drill (Air Buggy)

Schedule: 14 days on/14 days off
Pay: $32.00 - $60.00 per hour
Location: Northern Idaho, USA Coeur d’Alene area.
Job Type: Full-time in person

Job Responsibilities:

Drill with pneumatic long hole drill (Air Buggy)
Load and Blast long hole stopes and conventionally drilled raises.
Read and interpret Blast layouts, drill hole plans, and technical specifications.
Ensure accurate hole placement, depth, and angles per specifications.
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
Monitor ground conditions and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Follow all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Long Hole Driller in an underground mining environment is considered an asset and will be given priority consideration.
Proficiency in Loading and Blasting explosives, and understanding blasting techniques.
Strong knowledge of ground conditions, drilling patterns, and blasting procedures.
Valid MSHA Certification
Ability to obtain Possessor certification
Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing conditions.
